As I write this, it's currently the eve of your 4th birthday. I've just tucked you into bed, spring is finally in the air, your room is hot, your lion pillow pushed to the floor, and your sister asleep quietly in the bed next to you.

This week has been stressful; I've felt overwhelmed with work and the duties of daily life seemed harder the past couple days.  I make conscious efforts not to live in a space of anxiety, but so easily I forget the big picture- to be happy in the moment and live fully in the now.

You, my dear boy, are my reminder every day of my true purpose and what life is really about...

Love. Family. Time. Little moments, little fingers, and big curious eyes.

I love you, a bushel and a peck, always and forever.  I wish nothing more for you than to be happy, be kind, be present, and be giving.

Here's to sunglasses, down dog, the train playground, uncrustables, Blippi, bunny, rocks, Rocco, construction trucks, and soccer every day! Happy Birthday Gavin Bambino my main Mancino!

I still can't believe you are 4 ...
